Farewell Mrs. Anderson
Seoul International School prepares to say farewell to Mrs. Anderson, the computer science teacher. Well fit to teach the complications of computer science, she has inspired students over the years to aspire greater than they ever believed they could be. Recognized as a charismatic and outgoing teacher, many are devastated to hear the news of her departure.
Beginning her first years at SIS in 2011, Mrs. Anderson has undergone four fantastic years ever since then. When inquired about what she will miss most about this school, Mrs. Anderson explained, “I’ve met a lot of fantastic teachers here, really hard working teachers. I met a lot of really great students as well, that really show they want to learn more. Here at SIS you see a lot of talented students, and I’ve been thankful to teach a lot of them.” She has been teaching AP computer science throughout her entire four year stay at Seoul International School, and has recently begun teaching the coding elective in middle school. Her inner drive and passion for teaching students to her full ability derives from the solid fact that her students are talented and are willing to participate. Lots of students are active within her class as she interactively teaches the complicated art of computer science. Mrs. Anderson utilizes visual demonstrations on the board when teaching, and keeps her screen projected in order to ensure the fact that students aren’t lost and can follow with her easily. Her fantastic time here at SIS has been spent spreading her love for coding by inspiring the young pupils of Seoul International School. And thus, with her love and passion, her elective has been a great success this year. Unfortunately, the time has come to say our farewells to the loving Mrs. Anderson. “I’m leaving to California to try something new,” Mrs. Anderson explains about her departure. The entire student body will surely miss her for her continuous support in the great adventure for knowledge at SIS. |
